A Dictionary of Greek and Roman Antiquities is a 19th century classical reference book edited by William Smith, D.C.L., LL.D. and published by the John Murray publishing house in London. It was first published in 1842 and was republished from time to time until 1890. It was the standard work used in both England and America. The reference book contained 1294 pages with the articles written into two columns. The voluminous volume is illustrated with many woodcuts. The book is in the public domain.
