Adam Michael Bagni (pronounced /bag-KNEE/) (born November 16, 1984 in Taunton, MA) is an American sportscaster, who currently works as the Sports Director at ABC 32, WNCF-TV in Montgomery, Alabama.[1][2][3] In April 2006, Bagni won the Excellence in Broadcasting award from the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters[4], and in April 2007, participated in an attempt on the Guinness World Record for Longest Radio Quiz.[5][6]
Bagni anchors the station’s sports segment during their nightly newscast at 10:00 PM CT and also contributes sports features to sister station WBMM on their 9:00 PM newscast. In addition, he hosts Inside the Tide and the Tigers during the college football season.

Biography
College
Bagni is a graduate of La Salle University in Philadelphia. While at La Salle, Bagni was most notable for his coverage of La Salle Explorers athletics on WEXP AM 1600. He served as General Manager of the radio station and was the play-by-play voice for the campus radio broadcast. He was also a writer for The Collegian and the host of "Controversial Opinion" on La Salle 56.
Career
Prior to starting at WNCF, Bagni worked for the Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins as a production assistant at New England Sports Network (NESN), serving in capacities as an editor and writer, among other responsibilities. [7] He was also a production assistant on ESPN’s Monday Night Football and Sunday Night Baseball; FOX’s FOX NFL Sunday and the 2006 National League Championship Series. Bagni also worked for NBC Sports during the 2006 Winter Olympics
Awards
In April 2006, Bagni won an award for Excellence in Broadcasting, from the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters, based on his work at WEXP.[4] The station won in the category of Best Coverage of a Local Sporting Event: Major Market for a January 21, 2006 NCAA basketball game between La Salle and Saint Joseph's University. The award was also split with Merrill Reese and Mike Quick of WYSP for their coverage of the Philadelphia Eagles american football team.
World Record Attempt
On Friday, April 13, 2007, Bagni participated in an attempt to beat the Guinness World Record for longest radio quiz, by holding a quiz show lasting 35 hours (5 hours more than the previous record holder), set to end on Sunday.[5][6] However, there has been no follow-up on whether the attempt succeeded, nor whether it was officially recorded as a Guiness World Record.
