The Berber are a predominantly Muslim ethnic group living in northern Africa and Saudi Arabia. Historically, they are a nomadic culture, herding camels or plying various trade routes across the Sahara and Arabian deserts. Various Middle Eastern governments have attempted to settle Berbers in various communities, with only some degree of success.
