Erin Zhu (b. March 31 1974) is a former Usenetter. She first gained her notoriety as a romantic and business partner of Michael Zeleny. She is the daughter of Min Zhu, whose downfall as a co-founder and executive of WebEx she caused with her public usenet allegations of childhood sexual abuse [1]. In September of 2003, Judge Socrates Manoukian of the Santa Clara Superior Court ruled that Erin Zhu was a limited purpose public person, based on her standing as a Usenet victimologist.

Erin Zhu is the wife, muse, webmistress, and patroness of German pop musician Blixa Bargeld, founder and leader of Einstürzende Neubauten, whose fans have publicly complained about his marrying her for the money she earned under her father. In 2004 Erin Zhu settled breach of contract and fraud claims made against her, her father Min Zhu, and his company WebEx by Michael Zeleny and her lawyer David W. Affeld.
