Ethnic organizations, expecially in the culture of the United States provide political support and social opportunities for the many ethnic groups who have imigrated to the United States. Notable are the NAACP, La Raza, and the [[American Indian Movement.
There are many ethnic organizations which celebrate European ethnic groups, but viable mainstream organizations which represent caucasians as a group are rare or nonexistant.
