Gori is an industrial town in the Kartli region of Georgia. It has a population of 60,000.

It was the birthplace (in 1879) of Soviet leader Joseph Stalin and contains a museum dedicated to him.

The town is overlooked by the medieval fortress of Goristsikhe.
