Haywain

A haywain is a horse-drawn cart used for transporting hay, typically at harvest time. The term is rather archaic, and is now most frequently used in connection with John Constable's famous painting, The Haywain, which depicts such a cart crossing a ford at Flatford Mill in Suffolk, England.
