Lucian Bute (born February 28, 1980, in Pechea, Galaţi County, Romania) is a Romanian professional boxer living and fighting out of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Bute is the current IBF Super Middleweight champion.
People started calling him "Mr. KnockOut" after his series of wins, but he stated his preference not to be called that way, and his manager expanded on that, saying Bute intends firstly to win, but with a strategy, and attempts knockouts only in auspicious moments.
