Nu (uppercase Ν lowercase ν), is the letter of the Greek alphabet, used to represent the "[n]" sound in Greek. In the system of Greek numerals it has a value of 50. Letters that came from it include the Roman N and Cyrillic Н.
The lower-case letter ν is used as a symbol for:
- The frequency of a wave in physics and other fields.
- Any of three kinds of neutrino in particle physics.
