Greek diacritics

Psi (uppercase Ψ lowercase ψ), is the letter of the Greek alphabet, used to represent the "[ps]" sound in Greek. In the system of Greek numerals it has a value of 700. Letters that came from it include the Roman P and Cyrillic Ѱ.

It has come to be a symbol for psychology-related topics, and has also been used as a shorthand for supposed psychic abilities or powers.

Psi was also a character on the formerly popular game & television series, pokemon
