Propose renaming. "Village pump" is a Wikipedia hallmark, so much so that even other official Wikimedia projects don't use it for their Village Pump equivalents. SMcCandlish 15:10, 10 October 2007 (EDT)
I agree renaming such sections is a good idea, since I'd like to see Wikinfo become a true alternative to Wikipedia, eventually, rather than just a mirror site.

- I like keeping stuff in the same place with the same names as much as possible so that people familiar with Wikipedia know what's what. In the case of the Village Pump, that was once the central point of discussion on Wikipedia. It no longer serves that purpose there due to increased traffic and specialization. So it could be moved to a new page. Any suggestions? Fred Talk 08:30, 12 May 2008 (EDT)
