Decay mode
From Wikinfo
In physics, the decay mode of a radioactive isotope describes the way it disappears (turns into something else).
Decay modes include
- Emission of an alpha particle or a beta particle
- Capture of an electron or neutrino
- Spontaneous fission
- Emission of bremsstrahlung, X-Rays or conversion electrons
- Emission of protons, neutrons, or light elements (for example, 14C)
- Beta-delayed emission of particles
