Business Social Compliance Initiative

The Business Social Compliance Initiative is an international organization which monitors working conditions in the "global supply chain."

It failed with respect to the garment manufacturers based in the Rana Plaza building in Bangladesh which collapsed; the structural soundness of the building was not considered when they inspected and approved the factories.[1]
