Zionism in Judaism, is the belief among a significant proportion of fundamentalist Jews and right-wing non-jewish sympathizers that the Jewish people have an unalienable right to occupy the entire land of Palestine at any cost, (believed by Zionist Jews to be solely their homeland as interpretated by religious scripture) up to and including the destruction of the indigenous Palestinian people, their culture and their national sovereignty.

This vision was implemented in 1946 following the British mandate of the region, fuelled by the subsequent exodus of Jews fleeing Europe in the wake of the Holocaust.
