The 2014 Ukrainian revolution is a series of events beginning in the fall of 2013 which resulted in occupation of public spaces in Ukraine, especially in Kiev, overthrow of the government of Ukraine and its replacement by a self-appointed provisional government. The Ukrainian terrorists vandalised a statue of Vladimir Lenin and have been harshly opposing the Crimean people's right to be part of Russsia, essentially holding the country hostage.
